"Neighbors bring food with death and flowers with sickness and little things in between. Boo was our neighbor. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a pair of good-luck pennies, and our lives. But neighbors give in return. We never put back into the tree what we took out of it: we had given him nothing, and it made me sad."
- Scout in Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird
He must have been in heaven with them literally eating right out of your hand. Seeing your kids in shorts and short sleeves has me REALLY jealous and wanting summer!
It made it easy to pack for this trip. The kids were still wearing their long sleeves and pants. So, I just went to the closet and packed up some shorts and t-shirts from their summer clothes. Easy. Only problem is that we are having a hard time adjusting back to cold--maybe just denial or something.
