"Neighbors bring food with death and flowers with sickness and little things in between. Boo was our neighbor. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a pair of good-luck pennies, and our lives. But neighbors give in return. We never put back into the tree what we took out of it: we had given him nothing, and it made me sad."

girls at the beach
The weater wasn't super warm. But the girls love the water so the were brave and waded in. We wandered around and picked up shells and we even found a sand dollar.
La Jolla was the first beach we went to and we loved it! We didn't find any shells, though! We found a bunch this last time at Imperial?? Beach, right by Mexico.

I love looking for shells on the beach. What beach did you go to?
