"Neighbors bring food with death and flowers with sickness and little things in between. Boo was our neighbor. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a pair of good-luck pennies, and our lives. But neighbors give in return. We never put back into the tree what we took out of it: we had given him nothing, and it made me sad."

Feeding the deer
We got to feed the deer, too. I am hoping that by teaching Cole how nice the cute little deer are, that I won't have to worry about any deer heads hanging up overlooking my kitchen.
The bird and deer pictures are from the Wild Animal Park. Of the 3 places we visited (zoo, Sea world, WAP) my kids liked the WAP the best. There was a lot of walking, but not huge crowds of people. It was great.
