"Neighbors bring food with death and flowers with sickness and little things in between. Boo was our neighbor. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a pair of good-luck pennies, and our lives. But neighbors give in return. We never put back into the tree what we took out of it: we had given him nothing, and it made me sad."

Mama called the dr. and the dr. said...
No more monkeys jumping on the bed
or running
or power walking
or skiing
or anything fun
until after the holidays when she will call the dr. back and schedule foot surgery.
Crap. I'm hopeful for the surgery though. Luckily you've got that regimen thing you're doing. i'd blow up like balloon if that happened to me. Hopefully Saturday didn't mess you up too bad.

Bummer, hopefully the surgery will help and you'll be back skiing before the season is over.
