this was on the last day that we were in Maui. We went south a bit from where we were staying to makena. there is a beach along there that is famous for weddings so we joined in on one of the celebrations right as the sun was setting. It was beautiful. The kids had fun looking for shells, crabs, and other treasures. Rick was enjoying the near perfect photography setting. And I was just enjoying it all. Too bad we didn't discover this area sooner. It was awesome.
"Neighbors bring food with death and flowers with sickness and little things in between. Boo was our neighbor. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a pair of good-luck pennies, and our lives. But neighbors give in return. We never put back into the tree what we took out of it: we had given him nothing, and it made me sad." - Scout in Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird
