"Neighbors bring food with death and flowers with sickness and little things in between. Boo was our neighbor. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a pair of good-luck pennies, and our lives. But neighbors give in return. We never put back into the tree what we took out of it: we had given him nothing, and it made me sad."

Good News for Summer
I have found a series that will keep my little reader busy for a few weeks...
I know these books are clean for a young reader and so far she is hooked so I am happy. I won't have to search the bookstore or the library for a while trying to find something that will keep her occupied for a while.
Excellent.....I need to take a peek at those and see if they would work for Veronica. If she's got book for our 2-3 day drive to Florida, life will be MUCH simpler!

Do you have all the books or do you need to borrow. I've got them, I believe.
